My journey into computing
My interest in computers started when I was young, but my route into the subject has not been a straight one. After many years away from formal education, I returned to college to study Access to HE Computing at the College of West Anglia in King’s Lynn.
Returning to education was a significant step. The course helped me rebuild my academic confidence while gaining practical experience in programming, databases, networking, web development, cyber security and robotics.
I am now preparing to study Computer Science at the University of East Anglia. I have not chosen a final specialism yet. I want to use university to explore different areas properly, understand where my strengths lie and make an informed choice.
Why this website exists
This website is more than a collection of finished work. It is a long-term record of what I build, what I learn and how my thinking changes over time.
I want future projects to show not only the final result, but also the challenges, decisions and lessons behind it. Progress matters more to me than pretending every piece of work was perfect from the beginning.
